Use Safety Bucks for a new Hard Hat

Safety Bucks may also be redeemed as a reimbursement for a work hard hat purchase from any vendor of the Employee’s choosing per the following guidelines:

  • The hard hat must be for the employee's own use and for work purposes only.
  • Specifications: The hard hat must be white and comply with our PPE Policy. At a minimum, it must be Type II, Class C (Type II, Class E is preferred).
  • Reimbursement will occur within two (2) weeks of receipt submission for the total amount of the purchase up to the Safety Bucks balance available in the employee’s account at the time of reimbursement.
  • No subsequent reimbursement payments will be made if the cost of the hard hat exceeds the Safety Bucks balance.
  • Please submit receipt for the hardhat only, no other items listed on receipt.
  • One hard hat reimbursement per year.
